And 14 travel hours….
But it was so totally worth it.
So fun to catch up with cousins Matt, Heather, and Luke!!!
And my very favorite Aunt Arlene.
Snow was predicted again today. It’s April 22nd, you know…but ok…”we need the moisture…” (said complete with eye roll)
I dropped the kids at school and decided to take advantage of the big blue sky….
It really is starting to green up.
But you could see it start to come in…
Blue sky over my head and 53 when I got home to quickly shower before I needed to pick up Danny from school this morning.
Within that half hour the temperatures dropped to the low 30’s and the sky looked like this…
And, uh, just in case you were wondering….it began to snow and has continued off and on all afternoon.
I am totally ready for spring.
Complete with flowers and hay fever.
This week on Marrs.
And was cold:
But Abbie wiggle butt still made it by to play:
And the kids made it to school. (All three of them…yay!)
I made it out for bunco and caught up with my favorite ladies. I realized how much I have missed it!
And did I mention the snow?
Next week’s TGIF will look completely a different…
I had an unexpected free morning. We decided that Danny should attempt school today with the hopes of getting him back to five days a week before the end of school in seven weeks.
So, you have to ask…did I hit the grocery store for dog food?
Or, the car wash because its been a crazy winter and spring?
I have the beach in a mere two weeks. And it’s been a crazy winter and spring…
So I ended up here.
Trying desperately to undo winter in time for sitting on the sand.
It was tricky though.
I spent a bunch of time looking at these….
And trying to avoid this…
As they came crashing down.
