Because that is when the day camp is off doing other things leaving us the pool virtually to ourselves.
My little journaling blog hit a benchmark.
We passed 50,000 hits sometime last night.
Not as many as most….
But holy cow.
That’s a big number.
Thanks for visiting.
Things are about to get super interesting around here.
All three kids are teens.
Within a month….Kate starts high school, Danny is in his last year at middle school, and my baby Jack (who is almost as talk as I am) begins middle school.
There just isn’t enough wine……
Thanks for stopping by and catching up with us.
I think we were missed.
Kate cleaned the house yesterday.
Hugh snuck out of Denver University to meet us here.
Jack even let me hug him.
But I think Mulligan was the most happy all his peeps were under one roof again. His whole body just wiggled.
We are having a quiet weekend here on Marrs.
D and I are both pretty wiped out. He slept last night. All the way to 7:30am.
Probably because we both got more than a couple of hours sleep.
That, and he really likes Dr N…
But it wasn’t all poking and prodding….
And because we ended up with a day that felt more like spring than July…we continued our exploration of Cleveland.
Both of us are completely wiped out. And ready to come home…
Danny and I have had a day.
He was such a trooper during his eye exam…
But today his good behavior had a finite limit. And he hit it all during the appointment.
Completely typical I don’t have to listen to you mom because I am thirteen years old stinker.
While I wasn’t pulling all my behavior mod tricks out of my back pocket, we did manage to do a few things today…
But we are both pretty wiped out….
