He has taught me patience that I didn’t know that I was capable of.
He has taught me to be fearless. That I will take on anybody to get him what he needs.
He has taught me that while others might have more initials behind their names than I do, there is nothing in this world that I am incapable of learning if it might benefit him.
He’s taught me what real work ethic looks like.
He has taught me tolerance. That I don’t know what someone may be facing behind whatever thoughtless comment.
He’s taught me, even though it’s a cliche, the joy is in slowing down and appreciating the journey.
All three kids hold my heart.
But he has taught me that I am so much more than I ever thought I would be.
Tomorrow is the fifteenth anniversary of when I met my hero.
Happy 15th birthday Danny.
