“May not respond to verbal commands”

We had these at our old house. 

I’m not sure why I didn’t do it here. I’ve told west metro who d is so the closest fire station knows who we are and that d is nonverbal. 

Maybe I hesitated because this does label him. 

But at the end of the day, I need a stranger to know that just because he doesn’t respond to you doesn’t mean he’s a threat…or someone you need to look for in an emergency. 

I have one on my front door, my back patio door, his bedroom window, and on my car.  

I wish there were a way to just plop one everywhere he might go…..like a “deaf child” street sign. :-/
