School starts next week.
And so we have been in transition again.
I think I’ve got it all worked out today.
And let me preface what I’m about to say…I love the members of team Danny. And these two ladies really do get that it’s all about Danny’s needs.
But that’s not always the case, team Danny right now is pretty unique with their attitude and expectations.
Yes, I understand this is a job.
I completely understand that someone would want to maximize to as many hours as they possibly can to justify the drive.
But I don’t need help for six to eight hours a day Monday thru Friday. I just don’t.
I also understand that folks don’t care to work evenings or weekends.
But even though Danny barely attends school as he’s on homebound, our house only needs help three or so hours a day. And nights for Kates cheer or weekends so I can see Jack’s baseball games. I won’t even mention the occasional date night.
It’s not a 8-5 job.
It our home.
And our family.
And that makes the staffing hard. No matter how amazing we are.
