Catching up with….

Standard

Long time dear friends and cousin Sarah.

I was so excited to chat with Angela and Stephanie today, I forgot to do a “how did we get so old” selfie. 😂😂😂

And the day wouldn’t be complete without a quick trip to the beach

(We found a street named after Jack)

From blizzards to palm trees in just 12 travel hours…

Standard

It would have been less than the twelve door to door hours had DIA not lost power during a blizzard.

None of us can believe we made it, as they  shut down right after we left.

For the next four days while poor Hugh is working his backside off, I’m showing my kids what ended up to be this army brat’s roots.

They are commenting about how small a town this is….and I can’t believe how much it’s grown.

And omgosh…..when did Martin County High School get so big?!?!

Ninety minutes and counting…

So far I woke the kids to get out the door at 3am. We locked Danny in the car while dropping out bags at curbside check in…I lost my phone for 20 minutes…at least we were able to bypass the massive line for security as we had Danny…power went out at the airport delaying our fight…finally in a non moving line for de icing and we pull back into the gate because of some technical difficulties….but we are pushing back to get back into the line….

Did I mention Denver is having a blizzard???

At least I finally got the wifi to work for Danny.

And the guy that was sitting with Jack and I got off the plane so we have some elbow room as we continue to wait…

Two hours now…
